Formerly known as “The Tigers Den”, and “The Front Bar”, this bar is now modern and open in style on two levels, with enlarged windows to let in plenty of light, with air-conditioning and smoke extraction.

Sports. We have installed the latest and best in hi-tech vision and audio. Watch the match of the day on the big screen, keep track of other events on 5 plasmas, or enjoy our new video jukebox while playing pool.

World-class beers. The best part is our extensive range of world-class beers, pouring sparkling and icy cold from our state of the art beer dispensing system. How about a VB, New, Old, Carlton Draught, Resch's, Hahn Light, Cascade Light, Guinness, Squires Amber Ale, Squires Pilsner, Coopers Sparkling Ale, Becks, Stella Artois, or Kilkenny. Or maybe one of our 30 packaged beers will slake your thirst.

Spirits & Wines. We do wine by the glass or bottle, and a full range of spirits in shots or mixed.

Entertainers. All live entertainment is staged in the adjoining Vines Bar, Trivia Tuesdays, and occasional events Saturday nights. See The Vines Bar, Bistro and Garden.

Already famous for award-winning food and old style ambience, this local favourite has now a brand new look. – indoor/outdoor, modern, spacious, comfortable, and welcoming.

Food, food, glorious food. Our new menu features the most popular old favourites, plus an excellent variety of new style meals. Big juicy char-grilled steaks, succulent breast of chicken, home style roasts, grilled or fried fish, $15 - $25. Snacks and light meals such as pasta, pizzas, or a BLT, $8 - $15. Daily specials. The Bistro is entirely non-smoking. Reservations are recommended.

Fax an order. Businesses or groups under time pressure are invited to fax a lunch order through on the morning. Just ask for a menu-fax when making reservations.

New kitchen. Our old one has gone wherever old kitchens go. We’ve built a big, sparkling, whiz-bang new one, headed up by our Head Chef, Ray Watts, with a team of talented young foodies.

New BBQ. We’ve installed a sensational new BBQ for those who like to cook their own, or want a steak in a hurry, or maybe just like to stand around with a cold drink in one hand and a pair of tongs in the other, chatting or watching sport. Very relaxing!

Leafy, vine covered garden. Completely new - a lovely, elevated, level garden, north facing, with a leafy green cover of grape vines and wisteria. Retractable blinds provide weather protection so you are comfortable in any weather. A smoking area is available. Just a great place to be day or night.

3 big plasmas provide coverage of all sporting events and news of the day, plus 7 more in the VR Bar.
A giant screen for major events can be seen from anywhere in the garden.
